C is for Chateau, D is for Dodo: Alphabet Blocks series

I've had so many requests to return to my alphabet blocks series, that I'm committed to completing the alphabet by the end of of 2026. In the C and D blocks, stitchers get to stitch a dodo, a camel, a chateau, a drum and lots of other alphabet goodness. Please note: while these are quite sturdy, they are intended as decorative items only and are not safe for young children's play.

Model stitched on 32-count "Platinum" by Zweigart. For the "C" block, I used Cottage Garden Threads JK09 Candlestick & DMC 433 (full DMC conversion included). For the "D" block, I used CGT JK20 Scandalous & DMC 3042. Stitch count is 105w x 140h (each block). Finished size approximately 6.56" x 8.75" (each block).

The designs used full crosses over 2, some backstitches, a few Smyrna Stitches and optional Satin stitch. Whip-stitch is used for the finishing. Can be stitched on Aida.
