from United States on 08/14/2020 - Was cut crookedly, lost serged edge and part of the fabric
The piece of fabric I received had been cut so crookedly, I had to spend quite a lot of time squaring it up before I could use it. Here is what I had to do to take it from the way I received it to a usable state: 1: Pull threads from all but the selvage edge to find a straight line. Cut on 3 sides of the fabric, unfortunately destroying the serged edge and losing up to 1 inch of fabric on all 3 sides. 2: Get the sewing machine and zigzag attachment out. Re-sew 3 sides of the fabric. Clean up all the threads and bits of fabric. Put all of the sewing gear away. It was 2-3 hours before I could use a piece of fabric that was supposed to be shipped to me ready to use, and by the time it was usable, I had paid for several inches of fabric that had ended up in the wastebasket due to careless cutting.
