I have stitched for many, many years, but stepped away for several years so am enjoying all the new things...at least new to me. This is the first time for me to try a hand-dyed linen. I found a design that I wanted to give hand-dyed linen a try. I really appreciated you comparing your linen colors to a DMC number. The one I chose was just perfect and is giving the design the look that I wanted for the background. The weave is a bit tighter than I am used to, but found after putting a few stitches in that it was easy to stitch over two fairly easily...with my dazor lamp! Old eyes need magnification! I have always enjoyed stitching on small count. I plan to use some that is left over to make an ornament over one! Thanks for great quality products and prompt service. I am already planning what I want to stitch next and putting items in my cart!
