A needlework picture designed after an early eighteenth century canvas work piece, featuring a tree, two unicorns, a peacock, a badger and more!
Stitched over two threads on 40 count linen of your choice, the finished size will measure approximately 16" x 17". Cross and counted satin are the only stitches required to complete the picture, so it is recommended for any level of skill. Stitch Count: 340 x 320. Model is stitched with either Soie d'Alger Silk Thread.
Please note that the symbol for a black box, DMC 3371, AVAS 4136, appears as a white box on the chart. It's used to outline many of the motifs.

This pattern is a complete joy to work, I just can't praise it enough. It is interesting in its composition with lots of variety in the pictures so boredom does not set in. It turns out the background is also worked in threads which was something I did not realize when I bought it. But worked or not, the pictures complements a plain linen as well as the designed one done in threads. The pattern itself is very easy to read and gave plenty of guidance. I have had absolutely no problems with this piece and have greatly enjoyed watching it grow. Suggestion - tape the center of each page so the leaves do not become loose and fall from the pamphlet, I had that happen and a quick tape was all that was needed.

Beautiful pattern only problem one of the symbols does not have a color. At list that I could find.other than that is amazing
