Designer: The Artsy Housewife
Collection: Needlework Marketplace 2025
Item: ARTSY-033
Type: Cross Stitch Patterns
Cross stitch pattern from The Artsy Housewife featuring a vintage inspired design of a woman releasing birds with the phrase "I am no bird, and no net ensnares me".
Stitched on 40 count fabric using Roxy Floss CO (includes DMC Conversion) threads. Stitch count is 168 x 156. Finished size is 8.4" x 7.8".
Roxy Floss Co Colors: Cherry Blossom, Ochre, Sage, Gold Star, Daffodil, Thursday, Spinach, Arctic Air, Darkest Sage, Mum's the Word,
Note from the Designer: *There are two flosses that do not have a close equivalent in DMC. Darkest Sage is a nearly black deep green, and so I chose DMC 310 (black) to be it's substitute. Also, Thursday is an extremely dark maroon and DMC doesn't have a good sub for this. I feel that this floss lies somewhere between 154 and 814, so I would advise you pick the floss that you like the best or is best suited to your fabric! Using one strand of thread, one skein of each color is enough to complete the pattern.
If using two strands of thread you will need an extra skein each of Spinach and Thursday.
