I love the deep colors of this design, which I do associate with autumn. And I took a bit of artistic license with the flamingo - juvenile flamingos are white and they've always felt a bit "spooky" to me. But there's nothing sinister about this design - it's just a celebration of sea life (real and imagined) in lovely fall colors.
The model is stitched on 40 count linen using DMC, Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and Classic Colorworks threads with DMC conversion(DMC 621 not listed). The model is trimmed with Sequoia chenille and Cucumber velveteen, both from Lady Dot Creates.
