I like the Gentle Art Simply Wool threads. They are generally less saturated in color than the cotton threads and I like this because it lends an heirloom quality to patterns. I've used them in a cross stitch project on 40 ct. linen 1 strand over 2 fabric threadsand had great success. Will use them in other projects. I just wish they came in all the Sampler colors!
