This 56" x 64" lap quilt is perfect for the stay-at-home movie date night! This project uses a layer cake from the beautiful fabric collection "Date Night" by Basic Grey for Moda.

Another great technique to use with your Wedge Star tool. You will construct four patch diamonds using strip piecing, trim, add small wedges, and trim the inside point so you have four perfectly sized diamonds in each star point every time. With this technique you can create twenty two block size variations from 6" up to 48" in 2" increments.

This pattern has instruction for two quilts which are made using lots of dark, medium, and light charm squares. The little one was just leftover blocks from the larger one. The larger one finishes at 3`" x 35 1/2" and the smaller one is 12 1/2" square. Originally from the Little Gatherings Book.
