Very nice matte finish over dyed floss, subtle shades.

Had never used Valdani 6 ply cotton thread before and will never again. My pattern called for it, but, it breaks very easily. Really frustrating because it is not inexpensive. The colors are very vibrant and pretty, but, the thread just is too fragile.

Both brick Valdani threads pull apart in the middle of stitching. Not happy with them but am still trying to get the pattern done.
