Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. I have been searching unsuccessfully for a 40 count fabric that looks like the model pictured for the Willow Tree Sampler by Carriage House and have decided to try the 20 ct cappuccino. I ordered the 20 ct straw linen at the same time, but it is much browner. The cappuccino seems brighter and it is closer in tone to DMC 436. I like the fabric, but did not realize the obvious - how much more rustic a 20 count fabric is versus a 40 count fabric. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
