Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. I was so excited to stitch on this lovely red linen. It has nice color variations due to it being hand dyed. The weave of this linen is loose, so it was more challenging to stitch. The end result was beautiful, but the fabric made the project more frustrating than I would have liked.

Very close to the photo, maybe slightly lighter. The 30 ct is a happy medium between 28 and 32. Nice fabric; soft but firm and not at all stiff.
