Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.

Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to contact us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

This is a fine loose weave with a soft hand. It is subtly variegated. Compared to other linens I have worked with it grey rather than brown. I plan to use it for Garden Birds by La D Da.

Exactly the color I was looking for. This is my favorite cross stitch shop because of variety offered. I highly recommend.

The fabric was much darker than shown in the photo. The fabric itself was in good condition. I was just disappointed in how dark it was. I ended up using something else I already had. In addition, although not entirely your fault, I got 30 ct. when what I wanted was 28. It is what I ordered. But I searched directly for 28ct, size and brand and added what came up directly to my cart. I didn't see that it said 30ct my bad -- not yours. But may I suggest a warning of some kind that says something like 'we didn't find 28ct but here is something similar'
