This is a beautiful linen. I bought it to sew a Blackbird Designs Garden Club pattern. I wish one could purchase pieces that fit patterns, generously of course. The Garden Club and many others call for an approximate square piece of linen. These are longish pieces and there is a lot of wastage, but not enough to do anything with the extra length.

The weeks fabrics are my favorite for texture and color. Also loved the price on this large piece of fabric. Many happy hours of stitching ahead.

The chart I purchased this for called for a 30 count. As luck would have it, the color also comes in a 32 count. Like the tighter weave and the look of the stitches. Nice color too. cjh
