It gives a more subtle appearance to the fine stitching on applique than some of the heavier fibers like pearl cotton.

I agree with everything the previous reviewer said about Kentucky Bluegrass. The picture is accurate as to color, but doesn't convey the how vivid the thread is.

This color is gorgeous! The quality of the floss is good and makes it easy to work with and it is just such a pretty color. The picture doesn't give the color justice. It is awesome!
