Mary Jane Robson 1878 is a reproduction of a late 19th century English cross stitch sampler from the private collection of Whilst Iris Naps Designs.
The stitch count is 125 x 169 and our model is stitched on 36ct Weeks Dye Works 'Parchment' which measures approximately 7 x 9 3/8 inches (17.8 x 23.9 cm). The pattern only uses cross stitch over 2 linen threads and so would be suitable for stitching on either linen or Aida. Finished sizes for a variety of fabric counts are included. We used Weeks Dye Works threads but we offer a DMC conversion table.
Model stitched one over two on 32 Ct. Straw linen using Classic Colorworks, Gentle Art Sampler Threads and Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count: 141W x 139H. Design Size: 8.81" x 8.68"
Europe Sampler inspired by European Old School Samplers. You may see the glimpse of the typical motives of Dutch, English and German old samplers. Purple is the color of the Royal dynasties of Europe.
Pattern is stitched on 28 ct Platinum using DMC threads. Stitch count is 279 x 279.

Mary's sampler has been reproduced on 40ct Lakeside Linen in Vintage Buttercream with Soie d'Alger floss. The stitch count is 278 x 354. Stitch on fabric of your choice.
