This 14 count Country French Cafe Mocha Aida Fabric is a lovely color, not too dark, not too light. I am using this color to make Christmas counted cross stitch gifts for friends and family. It's easy to work with and feels softer than normal Aida.

I am not going to lie….. I miss being able to purchase Salem cloth! It was a soft fabric that was used for many things, but I primarily purchased it for cross stitching bread cloths. Charles Craft used to sell individual prepackaged bread cloths (18x18 I believe), but sadly discontinued ☹️. Country French is similar in texture and easy to stitch on.

This material arrived smaller than the size that I ordered and it was all frayed along the edges. Looking for other places to order in the future.

I found the 123 Stitch website and love it. Everything around me is closed so online buying was my only option. I found 2 projects to do. One was a fully complete kit and the other was just a pattern. The kit came and had stained fabric. I contacted the ladies at 123 Stitch and they sent me a replacement piece of fabric immediately for free. I offered to send the stained material back but they told me to keep it and work around the blemish making smaller items! I was pleasantly surprised! So often, less friendly stores don't do that. When I got the single pattern, I also purchased the threads that they had available. I wasn't sure which materials would look best so I asked for their opinions. They suggested the Cafe Mocha Aida fabric and mailed it to me. It is the perfect material for the project. Love, love, love this site and the women who work there. They're friendly, helpful and a delight to work with! I'll be visiting again!

I enjoy doing counted cross stitch and Blackwork. I always use Aida, usually 14 or 16 count, in white. I chose this fabric color to get away from always using white. I expected the fabric would be as stiff as the white fabric. It. Is. NOT. I've never had my hands on fabric as limp as this is. It is very difficult to get it tight in the hoop. It's like handling water .. I don't like it at all. I've started stitching my project on it and I'm going to have to stick it out. A friend suggested spraying starch on it or using a stabilizer behind it. I've got to do something. Is there more fabric out there like this? Is there a way to tell it's this flimsy beforehand? If you already know about super soft Aida and like it, this is for you! If not, expect a whole new experience!

I wasn't sure of the color of the material so I asked for help and I am very pleased with the fabric they suggested and sent to me. 123 Stitch has always helped me when I needed help on anything.

This is the cross stitch cloth i needed. I have a large collection of silk floss and this soft cloth is best to keep it from fraying.

This is a great neutral color to use for projects. It was the perfect softness, not too stretchy and not too stiff.I plan to purchase a larger piece to use for several smaller projects.
