It is 100% cotton with no start nor stiffer and is perfect for those who want no stiffness in their Aida. It works well on a hoop or a frame since it is so soft. I love this as this is all the fabric that I buy. You can order a larger size than what is listed if you put that in the ordering instructions.

The holes are clearly defined and it retains its shape well even after being in a hoop. I do wish it was a little darker though and more closely resembled the picture, but overall Im very pleased.

The color is quite light - more like a dark cream, really. Very, very soft! I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it was serged on the edge, so I was ready to stitch right away without fraying. Highly recommend!
