My 1st time to X-stitch with this dark of an aida .. so far, so good, as I'm stitching "Make Today Count". For me, requires a LOT of focus & attention to hopefully come out OK.

This is not your typical stark black color. It's more like a dark charcoal. I'd call it light black. It's perfect and what's called for in the chart.

I purchased this black vs a true black and found it much easier to stitch on. There is a difference In Fabric I have discovered as I have broadened my scope.

This fabric was perfect. Great quality and coloring! I love stitching on evenweave and linen but not if it’s colored black. Guess my aging eyes object. Aida is just perfect. I purchased a yard which was the most economical and will have plenty to complete all my projects that call for black linen. I’m a very happy stitcher.

I have never tackled a large project on black fabric and decided to start with something I could easily see and work with. I'm very pleased with the color of the Aida, and am having no problem stitching on it at all. As usual, all items shipped from 123Stitch come very quickly and I am always pleased with the quality!
