I really like the color of this fabric, perfect background for bright colors . It’s not too dark, lighter than mushroom with subtle hints of green . More like clay I’d say .

Beware-June 2020 shipment of this fabric has a green hue/tint! Prior shipments was beautiful neutral color that went with so many designs.
Hoping they return to the original color without the green hue!

Slightly different color than I expected. Bought it without any project in mind, but liked it so much that I substituted it for fabric I was just about to use. It works very well with the thread colors Im drawn to. Will probably end up ordering more.

I love this fabric color! It is like some paint colors where it depends on what it is next to, it changes colors slightly to beautifully blend. If it is next to tan it becomes a light tan, if next to white it has a very very slight shade of silver, and in some light it is a very very soft gray. This is my new favorite fabric as it is so versatile!!
