Lugana: 52% cotton, 48% viscose. An easy care fabric that is also easy to work with.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to call us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

from United States on 08/22/2025 - Red lugana I've used this material before. Very easy to work with. Pattern called for Aztec but unable to stitch on that. This was a good substitute.
from United States on 08/06/2023 - Lovely fabric!! Going to try some one over one stitching on this piece of fabric. I have been looking for the perfect red and this is it!!
from United States on 02/28/2022 - Lugana is my favorite for Hardanger This is a really deep blue red, I was hoping for more of a Christmas red - like DMC 321, but it's a beautiful piece of fabric and I'll find a use for it some time.
from United States on 09/29/2021 - Beautiful Fabric is not too stiff nor is it too soft and the color is beautiful
from United States on 08/25/2018 - Gorgeous rich color The color is richer than the photo. Check the suggested DMC color match. Its more of a maroon than a red. I had a small piece already so I knew what to expect. Its a lovely color and the fabric quality is great.
from United States on 12/09/2017 Gorgeous. Can't wait to begin my next project!
from United States on 03/10/2017 - Beautiful This fabric is beautiful in color and texture.
from United States on 12/30/2015 - victorian red lugana I recently purchased 25 count Victorian Lugana fabric. As yet, I have not begun a project but I'm looking forward to stitching on it. The fabric is not too dark to see the holes but not too bright and just right. It is a lovely color and the color makes the fabric even sturdier so that it doesn't wrinkle.
from United States on 12/09/2014 - Hard to Find It seems that the Victorian Christmas colors are hard to find. When I knew what ornaments I wanted to cross stitch this year, I knew I would want a 25 or 28 count Victorian. The color was just as I expected and I am looking forward to seeing how they come out.
from United States on 04/07/2014 - beautiful This fabric is easy to work with and a great red color. It would be good for Christmas too.
