However, I’ve used the black Jobelan evenweave fabric twice for projects I wanted to have stand out. This fabric is not difficult to stitch on and my projects really pop with the black. I am loving the way it looks with my current project.

from United States on 07/27/2020 - Great Fabric! I’ve always been a linen only stitcher but decided to try an evenweave for some of the cute chalkboard designs. This fabric exceeded my expectations. It is very easy to see, is soft but not too soft so not flimsy at all. I’m enjoying stitching on it.

This fabric is softer than linen or Aida and will be perfect for the stunning tiger head I'm stitching on it. Since it is so pliable I have to pull my stitches a little less snugly than I would on a stiffer fabric, but that's part of what makes cross-stitch so much fun! Every piece is special and unique.

from United States on 10/03/2015 - Good quality but hard to stitch b/c of color The quality of this fabric is high. It seems to fray easily, but fraycheck took care of that. The only problem I am having with it is that it is difficult to stitch on because of the dark color and the small holes. This is in no way a reflection on the seller, just the nature of the fabric itself.
