I have done both counted cross stitch and hardanger on this fabric. It is fairly easy to stitch on and is a good color.

Please note that the picture shown is for the Water Lily linen. I bought both and there is a difference. The Jobelan is more yellow. It's nice but not what I was expecting. Also, if you are considering the linen, the color is true but it is incredibly stiff even after washing. It is also very, very thin, see-through actually.
