There is nothing quite like Texas in the Spring. Our family makes a point of going out into the fields of Bluebonnets every spring to take pictures and bask in the beauty of wildflowers.

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Chantilly linen by Color and Cotton using Classic Colorworks, Weeks Dye Works, and DMC threads. Stitch Count 130 x 80.

Part 4 of the Seasonal Birds series, this is the Spring bird. A pretty little Robin surrounded by apple blossoms and pink berries. Large print, easy to read black/white symbol chart.

This piece was originally designed for the Spring 2024 issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine. The verse is from a song from The Mikado by Gilbert & Sullivan. The song is lilting, happy, and full of tra-la-la's!
