The fabric is gorgeous and exactly as represented. I took away a star because it is not surged on all sides. I ordered many pieces of fabric and cannot take time to review all of them; please surge all sides. The same comment applies to all fabrics.

I like to pick colors for my background and find that this color can sometimes substitute for black or very dark blue. I seem to have trouble working with navy or black as they're not clear to me.

This fabric is more like a cobalt blue and that is what I was hoping for. The fabric is very stiff. A little stiffer than most 14 ct fabric but that is not always a bad thing. It arrived and was as described. The quality is good and I would definitely purchase a again.
