This fabric is fine. It’s pretty much what I expected except that I’ve had issues where one tiny strand sticks out into a hole and sometimes I’m stitching through that instead of the hole itself. I suppose this is more likely given the black fabric, but I haven’t come across this issue before!

Nice black color of the aida. The fabric is pretty crunchy but not too stiff. It was easy to poke through the middle of the square when needed and i had no issues putting it into the hoops and scroll frame. Love stitching on this aida

I had not worked on black fabric of any kind, so I've had a learning curve. Still, I think this Zweigart Aida makes it as easy as it possibly can be. Consistent weave and lots of tolerance for restitching.

I love how soft and light it is. It isn’t thick/stiff like the dmc fabric so you can see through it a little bit if you hold it up to the light... but it’s been a great fabric to stitch on. I would buy it again.

I'm really enjoying working this fabric. Yes, it's challenging because it's dark, so you need good lighting. But the holes are pretty easy to locate and it gets easier with practice. Definitely recommend black if you want to make a project pop from the fabric.

I am working on a beautiful cross stitch and had started it on linen. But between the fabric being black and my aging eyes, I couldn't see where to make the stitches. The aida cloth is a much better choice for me and I can see what I am doing.
