I love the color of this aida! I’m stitching the nutcrackers from Prairie Schooler and they look very nice on this color. I will be buying more of this aida in the near future!

I find it to be quite perfect as the background for samplers. The holes really aren't visible from even a small distance.

I have a pattern that used 32 count Belfast dirty linen. This Aida may not be exactly the same color but looks great with the thread colors. I'm sure as I stitch along, I'll like it even more. 123Stitch.com is great giving a DMC equivalent, too, which really helps.

I have used this color fabric for many different projects. It is dark enough to easily show white and a range of Browns. It is very neutral.

This is a very versatile color when you need a medium light background.

on 03/01/2014 - Versatile Color for so many projects!
This fabric color is perfect for so many projects! The bright colors of Christmas look perfect with it as a backdrop. I am also doing a colorful spring piece using this color and it contrasts nicely. 16 count, while a little smaller than 14 count, means you actually spend less to frame your slightly smaller piece, and we all know that framing is expensive!
