I recently got the black Cashel linen for a particular project. I was originally frightened of stitching on black but it turn out to be fairly easy to use, and very consistent, and just crisp enough to make stitching easy.

Stitching on dark colored fabric is a challege for my aging eyes- even with magnification. I love stitching on Cashel linen, so decided to try the black. It is a joy to stitch on and the colors in the Still Life pattern really pop against the black background. I had tried Aida and this looks much more elegant.
