Lugana: 52% cotton, 48% viscose. An easy care fabric that is also easy to work with.

A wash-removable grid makes this fabric perfect for large projects. Once you've finished stitching, soak your fabric in warm water for about an hour and the grid will wash away.

Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to contact us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

I only wish it 1. Came in colors (though I understand why it doesn’t) 2. I REALLY wish it came in 18 count!

I love the softness of this fabric and the gridding makes cross stitching easy, but I had a hard time washing the gridding out when the stitching was done. I tried soaking it in warm water and a squirt of dishwashing detergent for six hours, replacing the water once per hour, but traces of the grid still remained. Finally I added about half a tablespoon of Oxyclean to a gallon of warm water and soaked it for a couple more hours. Voila! The grid was completely removed and the DMC floss was not affected. Now that I know how to remove the grid, I am comfortable giving this five stars.

So far, I love it. Makes it so much easier to know where you are. I have very poor eyesight….but I still want to cross stitch. I am not done with the project..so I am not sure how it will look after I put it in water

I love this product! I am working on a large full coverage and I can’t imagine trying to stitch it without this grid. Perfect for beginners or big projects. Shipping was very fast and in great condition. Highly recommend
