This fabric is realy easy to stitch although it has a shimmer in it.
I like to use it for Christmas ornaments. Originally, I only wanted to use it for Nutcracker Village (code for fabric). Since I'd had bad experiences with another manufacturer's shimmering fabric, I wanted to test it out first. So I started a small ornament with it, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how beautifully this fabric stitches.

The raw silk Belfast linen is beautiful. It has a soft texture and a good weight to it. Its nice to stitch on unless u use a magnifying lamp to stitch. The sparkle in it reflects off the magnifying lamp and it makes it hard to see the holes at some angles. But other than that its a very nice fabric that gives great results.

This is an absolutely fun linen to stitch with. My grandson loves the patterns. He said that he thought that it looks like snow around the buildings.
