from United States on 09/04/2022 I love the look of this linen, but for some reason it is very hard for me to stitch on. There seems to be 2 thread colors...one color for warp and one color for weft. It's just hard for me to see where to insert the needle! I stitch on 40 count all the time, so I don't think it is the linen count. IF I can get my project finished, it will look great! It is just slow going for me.

The picture is not accurate to the color of this linen; however, the DMC equivalent of 644 is quite close. This linen is a tad darker than 644 and slightly more brown. It also has some variegation of tones throughout, not unlike other linens and a bit like Fiddler's Aida, which gives it a bit of a rustic look. Happy for purchase and would happily repurchase for future products.
from United States on 08/31/2020 This was the first time I had used 40 count fabric. The fabric was lovely and very easy to stitch, altho' my aging eyes needed plenty of light to see the tiny holes! This was also a great value. I will certainly buy it again.
