from United States on 09/02/2025 I love evenweave, I also love 40ct so this was right up my ally. I did rit dye this fabric and it turned out better than I imagined. It did not shrink it, it held color perfectly. I loved every stitch on this fabric! It was buttery smooth, easy to see, has a fantastic drape. This was just a tiny piece so I ordered a large piece for an upcoming large project. I wish this came in colors, that's my only complaint.
from United States on 07/16/2025 - Evenweave cloth - beautiful and hard to find I ordered the 40 count white verdal evenweave 13x18. Great price and just beautiful. It came with all sides "stitched up," so there will be no fraying. I use it for cross-stitch, I stitch over two, so it's actually 20 count. What isn't stitched looks like linen instead of AIDA cloth. Thank you so much for this. I will be using this 40 count for many other projects. I love your store!!!! I get all my floss from you guys, even if it's just 2 or 3 colors that I'm missing.

First of all love that this fabric is 100 percent cotton, as I sometimes paint watercolor and/or watered down acrylic paint backgrounds for embroidery designs. Poly/cotton blends don't do as well for this, as the fiber blend doesn't absorb the colors as well, so they are much more muted. This fabric is so very soft, a lovely crisp white color, and the openings are easily seen. That said, it is a dense enough weave for embroidery. Very happy with this fabric!
