from United States on 04/01/2024 - Not a happy customer this time It’s very unusual to be unhappy with fabric purchased here. The color and weight is fine so I was surprised how much I dislike this fabric once I started stitching. It’s stiffer than I expected and the threads are so plump and packed together it’s difficult to see and area between the threads ( even with magnification) and it’s even hard to pull a 28 needle through. It’s not like 40 count is new to me. Just very disappointed
from United States on 03/25/2024 - A Great Neutral I've never used this fabric before so I was just hoping this would work for the project I had in mind (Miss Hazel by Stacy Nash). It was perfect. The actual fabric is a bit more neutral as the product photo on my screen leans to a slightly more pink undertone. I find this fabric to be a perfect neutral. Great for samplers or showing off variegated threads.

from United States on 05/23/2022 - 40 ct flax newcastle linen Because it is 40 ct the weave of the fabric is much finer that might be evident from the picture. The DMC 3782 seems reflected in the color, but not the 712. It is not quite the oatmeal color that it appears to be on my monitor.

from Canada on 12/31/2021 - 40 ct Zweigart Flax This is a nice all purposes fabric, would suit many patterns. The fabric is a very soft colour. I also have 32ct and the 40 dyes lighter than the 32, at least in the pieces I received.

from United States on 10/20/2021 - Wonderful! I bought this linen to work on the Dutch Beauty piece. The fabric is incredibly nice to stitch on and the color is perfect. I love how the edges are already sew down to prevent fraying. The package was shipped and arrived in a reasonable amount of time (I would say it was less than a week from my ordering it to when it arrived). I highly recommend this fabric and will order it again for future projects!

from United States on 04/11/2016 - Newcastle linen is the best! I love 40 ct. flax Newcastle linen. It is a beautiful and neutral color and perfect for any cross stitch project. I find I use it more than anything else. I love 40 ct. because you only have to use one strand of your overdyed threads and they last so much longer. 123 is beyond excellent to work with and if they don't have the item they will find it for you.

Although I had to pull out my stronger needlework glasses and make sure I sit under a daylight lamp at night, it is worth it. I love the petite yet clear look and to be honest, as you only need one strand of floss, all the speciality threads I like to use go a lot further than 2 strands. I am ready to order more again!
