from United States on 03/20/2023 - Very thin I bought this linen to do a red sampler. However, the linen is so thin and see through that everything on the back shows through the front. I tried washing it on hot and put it in the dryer, hoping that the linen would shrink and the individual fiber strands would swell/fluff up, thus making it less see through. It did not work. I'm really not sure I can use this for anything. I have other 46 count of this linen brand and it isn't so thin and see through. Fairly disappointed, as I bought a large piece.
A wash-removable grid makes this fabric perfect for large projects. Once you've finished stitching, soak your fabric in warm water for about an hour and the grid will wash away.
