The design is based on an antique piece in my collection from the late 1800s.

Model stitched on 36 count linen with Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works floss (DMC conversion included). Finished as pillow with rick-rack trim. Stitch count is 89 x 57. Finished size is 5" x 3.2"

Note from the designer: This one is dear to me because I designed it in the style I began my design business with. I love the feel of old samplers, and I hope this one is reflective of how The Lord has always shown me His grace.

In her roses garden... the peacock unfurls its silken silence. Each feather seems like a captive ray of daylight, each thread a caress of time. Motionless beauty, it reigns-proud and gentle-over the stitcher's garden.

Stitched on 40 count linen. The stitch count is 184 x 180 and the finished size is 9.2" x 9".

In 1857, little Mariette let her needle wander like a gentle breath. From her diligent hands was born a sampler full of delicacy, touched with softness and grace. Its floral border, rich with varied motifs, still seems to whisper the secrets of her young stitcher's heart.
