Its no secret that I like to stitch chickens, and this sweet little black and white hen is one of my favorites in my flock here at the farm. And the little chicken on the back has been in our flock from the beginning.

This fun design centers around the 1929 song, Dance Around in Your Bones. I couldn't resist! This design is stitched on 40-Count Ancient Ruin from Fox & Rabbit using Needlepoint Silk. This design was suggested by shop owner Marilyn after seeing our sampler Christmas Time! Our skating Santa can be stitched with the word "Joy" on his sack, or "Toys" since we include charting for both. Our model was stitched on 40-count Hemingway from Needle & Flax using DMC. Finishing instructions are included. Stitch count: 172 wide by 418 high.
