The design is based on an antique piece in my collection from the late 1800s.

Model stitched on 36 count linen with Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works floss (DMC conversion included). Finished as pillow with rick-rack trim. Stitch count is 89 x 57. Finished size is 5" x 3.2"

A garden in all it's glory! Blooms reaching for the sky. The oasis is filled with clever creatures of the earth and the sky. It is a stitcher's joy to create every element with needle and thread.

The birds in this design are inspired by the Pacific wren. The three birds have a geometric patterning and some unusual colors.
