This mourning sampler is a collaborative release with Bendy Stitchy Designs. Our models were stitched on two different fabrics (Aida vs. Linen) to showcase that the design could easily be stitched on both types of fabric.

You can almost smell the fragrant orange blossoms on this design! Using a unique palette of soft orange and lavender, this verse from Nehemiah is displayed both boldly and gently. The blooms are dancing joyfully around the words, paired with the citrus fruits for a special color balance.
Forbidden Fiber Co has some of the prettiest thread colors out there, and I'm excited to release another design using some of them! Using a gorgeous red, some joyful shades of green, and beautiful blues, this Bible verse from the book of James matched up quite nicely with a Christmas theme.

Note from the designer: I really wanted to showcase all sorts of new life with this piece, and it was such fun to work on all the animals! I also divided it (loosely) into 4 habitats, so with a little bit of finagling (each band contains some element that extends past the top into the next one) you... Read more
Don't you love the sound of hippity, hop. I do and I see hopping bunnies around and playing chicks in the spring. With those words, this design came to mind.

Amish quilts have always fascinated me - I am quite taken with their simplistic beauty, their stunning use of solid color fabrics, and their history. In 2024, I was fortunate to see an exhibit of such quilts at a museum. There was an amazing Broken Star quilt right at the entrance that just drew me... Read more
My lace design series are all patterns that have been inspired by old pieces of lace. A number of stitchers have shared with me their wish for a design in this series that would be a little smaller than many of the others, and so the idea for Lovely Lace was born.
I enjoy doing color experiments in my designs and this pattern is the result of one. Using the highly variegated Weeks Dye Works Bethlehem with one coordinating DMC for each circle, it is so fun to see how a solid color brings out the different shades that make up the variegated thread.
Thistles stand out against the late spring and summer grasses. This exquisite biscornu features a delicate arrangement of thistles, with their bright pinky purple blooms and curling green leaves woven through the intricate design. Inspired by the resilience of the thistle, this piece evokes a sense... Read more

This piece turned out just as beautifully as I'd envisioned it in my head, late one night trying to fall asleep, which (trust me) doesn't always happen! This is such a bold statement piece due to both the heavy Quaker style alphabet and the eye catching dimensional motif which is stitched on a... Read more

This sampler brings together two of my favorite themes: stitching and music. It is full of motifs such as thread spools, "loudspeaker" flowers, and hoops with music notes. It reads: "I wanna rock and roll all night and cross stitch every day"
The model was turned into a quilted table mat meant for use at cross stitch retreats, but it would be just as good placed in a frame. It was inspired by the people I've met and the friends I've made at cross stitch events across the nation.

Over two model was stitched over 1 thread on... Read more

Birds on the Temple is a reproduction of a sweet little antique sampler. While there is a set of initials and a year on the sampler, what really stood out to me was the birds sitting on the temple. I decided to use The Gentle Arts Simply Wool again for this one. It's such a joy to stitch with.... Read more
I found these sweet small frames at my local Michael's Store about a year ago and knew they needed samplers. I immediately posted a photo of them on Instagram encouraging stitchers to grab them up. This adorable design will be a TREAT (and NO trick) to stitch for Halloween! I started with the crow on the jack-o-lantern and the words Trick or Treat and then realized how fun it would be to continue the rhyme and see what spooky scenes I could create for it.
Add a dash of cute spookiness to your Halloween decorations with this adorable ghost! Pin drums are such a fun way to finish small round designs. Pick your favorite coordinating fabric, add some mini pom pom trim and you're done!
