A basket sampler quilt inspired by fabrics and design from the 1830's to 1840's. The original quilt is pieced from the Sarah's Story Collection by Betsy Chutchian for Moda fabrics. Named for Sarah Hale, an author, poet and editor of Godey's Lady's Book for 40 years.

This 44" x 60" sweet lap quilt features "Bee Joyful" by Deb Strain for Moda. The pattern uses two panels and simple piecing. The fabric was released in March 2019 so if you are looking to substitute the panel blocks, look for something with 10 1/2" unfinished squares.
