These metal stays work great with the Katahdin Tote pattern by Aunties Two. Stays are angled in at each end to help keep the top of the bag open. Insert the stays in a channel at the top of the bag. Stays are approximately 17 1/2" from tip to tip.

Add texture, dimension and style to your embroidery using Fray Brush. Trim the edge of applique fabric leaving 1/8" to 1/4" of fabric all the way around the design. Brush the edges to create the frayed effect. For best results use natural fibers like cotton or linen.
