Model stitched one over two on 40 Ct. Sand Dune from lakeside Linen using Needlepoint Inc. Silk with DMC conversions. One Thread Gatherer Silk N Colors "Rusty Amber" also required. Stitch Count: 185W x 614H. Finished Size: 9 1/4 " x 30 5/8"

Model stitched over 2 threads on 18 Ct. Dirty Linen using Caron Watercolours, DMC floss, and Mill Hill beads. Stitch count: 199w x 186h. Finished Size: 12" x 11"

white, 8102 red (3), 8410 navy (6), 8422 olive, 8725 yellow.
and Rainbow Gallery Threads ND1 and SB1.

This design has been influenced by the Elizabethan fashion for creating Knot Gardens of Parterres which used strict geometric patterns in the execution.

Model can be stitched on any fabric of your choice using DMC floss or Gentle Arts Sampler Threads. Stitch count: 226w x 226h and the finished size is 16.14" x 16.14" on 14 count.

This sampler has no name on it so I lovlingly, refer to it as the Black Cat sampler. I believe the original was crafted in England. There are two sets of initials on the sampler but I have not been able to determine if they are that of the stitchers.
