Two models are shown in the booklet - one worked on #36 linen over two and another on #28 linen over one in red. A perfect gift for Anglophiles and travelers who have been to England. Our model was stitched on 32-count Dirty Teacup linen from Needle & Flax using two strands of DMC over two threads of linen. NPI conversion also included. Also required but not listed for NPI option: NPI 625. Stitch count: 117 wide x 89 high.

This is a companion piece for the Ann Harper 1839 sampler. It includes charts for the Pin Drum and Pin Cushions, as well as full instructions for constructing the Pin Drum. Pin Drum Stitch Count 270w X 105h. The model was stitched on Fox and Rabbit 36ct Desert Taipan Linen using DMC and Weeks Dye Works threads. Finished size is 15" x 5.8".
Dreaming of Daisies is an original sampler. Stitch Count 215w X 159h. The sampler was stitched on Fox and Rabbit 40 Count Saltbush linen, using Colour and Cotton threads not listed (Coal, Chestnuts Roasting, Snowflake, Tree Lot, Tulle, Witches Brew, Bobbins, Tadpole). DMC alternatives provided.
Model stitched on 36 Ct. "beige" colored linen from Weeks Dye Works usong Weeks Dye Works threads with DMC conversions. Stitch Count: 287W x 295H. Finished size 16" x 16.5".

Mary Garrett stitched her fine sampler at Claverton school in 1854 at age fifteen. It is a remarkable piece of needlework, incorporating five different alphabets all stitched meticulously over two on 72 count linen. More history is included on the chart.
