A little red sampler inspired by traditional designs from northern Europe. This sampler can easily be personalised by adding the stitchers' initials in the wreath using the alphabet at the top of the design. This pattern features only full crosses and is suitable to be worked on aida and linen.
This sampler reproduction design is based on a 1785 sampler from Amsterdam. The original sampler had some very uneven stitching, which had to be adjusted in this re-interpretation of this design.
