Note from designer: Isabella Hunter was born February 16, 1875 in Troon, Ayrshire, Scotland. There was a paper originally attached to the back of the sampler with the written words "Isa(bella) & Ma". This suggests that maybe Isa and her mother worked on this sampler together.

Threads are Classic Colorworks Blacksmith Blue, Jakey Brown, Milady's Teal, Pea Pod, Pine Needles, St. Bernard, Sunkissed, Used Brick; Sampler Threads Barn Grey, Shaker White. A full DMC conversion is provided. This piece will fit in a 5 by 7 frame, if the rabbet is shallow enough.
