This sampler, which I have named the Sewing Box Sampler 1 because it and another were found in a sewing box, is of unknown date and origin. As you can see, there is no name or date on this sampler, and as you can see from the original, it was unfinished. Perhaps the stitcher meant to stitch her name... Pattern is stitched on 40 ct. linen with NPI silk floss. The stitch count is 274 x 234 and the finished size is 13.7" x 11.7".

When stitching with Au Ver A Soie silk floss, you will also need 705, 661, and 607.
