I loved this classic fall design so much that I asked my model stitcher to stitch it in two different colors! The front cover photo (above) is the model in rust using Belle Soie Silk Floss, while the back cover model (below) is a deep dark chocolate color using Threadworx.

How could I not continue this fun series. We have a fat bumblebee who hardly looks like he can fly and he will have a squirrel friend to come soon, this year yet too. Continues in the same size approx. design count-60 wide and high, but rounded corners. The piece was stitched on 40 ct Hawthorne by Needle & Flax. Stitch count is 57 x 59.
So fun to do these pieces, my continuing love affair with flower bouquets! I enjoyed the soft colors of spring and it is only cross stitched no specialty stitches. Stitched on 36 ct Shrekie's Tan by Needle Bling Designs using hand dyed cottons with a DMC conversion. Stitch count is 73 x 80. Finished with Robin Egg chenille from Lady Dot Creates.

This is a perfect little design to show off a special floss and fabric color combo. Stitched in Sulky 12 wt. Petites Blendable color #4067 Merlot Blush on Weeks Dye Works 30 count Sanguine linen, this color combination reminded me of strawberries. With only 2516 total stitches.
