I began exploring English Cameo glass after a visit to a museum where I saw some extraordinary examples of this art form. Inevitably, when I find something like this that interests me, I turn it into a cross stitch pattern.

The inspiration for these four little biscornus was a piece of cotton fabric that was being used to make a project bag. I loved the geometric design and bold color scheme and knew I needed to create a cross stitch pattern from it.
Model stitched on 32 ct Christmas Red Belfast linen and Black Belfast linen using DMC threads. Stitch count: each biscornu is 39 x 39.
With Bluebirds being one of my favorite birds, I had to create a pattern that is a very loose nod to them. I also included a couple of my other favorite things, quilting patterns and flowers.

This pattern I designed as a tribute to my other hobby, beekeeping. I love my little honeybees, and I wish I could hug them! This pattern is a cute self potrait of me in the bee yard, and can be easily customized for any beekeeper.
