A basket sampler quilt inspired by fabrics and design from the 1830's to 1840's. The original quilt is pieced from the Sarah's Story Collection by Betsy Chutchian for Moda fabrics. Named for Sarah Hale, an author, poet and editor of Godey's Lady's Book for 40 years.
Fabrics are cut and serged before dyeing. Fabric will shrink from the original cut size however the total number of stitches stays the same as the original cut of fabric.
