This was my ‘mentor’ fabric many years ago when I was going to make the ‘leap’ to higher count fabrics from 14-count Aida fabric. The Evenweave helped me to stitch ‘over two’ because the fabric strands being equal in diameter both vertically and horizontally, the fabric is soft and smooth with drape which has a calming effect to ‘Nervous’ hands. It still is one of my top fabric ‘go to’ with the ‘antique’ color that is a great substitute with it’s ’softer, laid back white’ tone compared to the bright white. Love it. I keep plenty in my stash!

I love full-coverage cross-stitch designs, and selected a huge picture for New Year 2021 start. Since the ground fabric is fully covered, I shopped for a high-quality blank cloth rather than a hand-dyed beauty, and this 28ct lugana was perfect. It arrived quickly, and the edges were already serged and ready to go. I've stitched about 600 sts into it, and love the way the needle and thread glide through. Am super-pleased with this purchase!!
