Beautiful linen with wonderful feel...stitches up like a dream. Nice sort-of golden color, but not too yellow...perfect sampler color. And 123Stitch is my favorite shop for fabric, floss, patterns and notions. Shipped quickly and fair price.

The linen is actually the soft, golden yellow color of actually cornsilk. It is beautiful.

Corn Tassel is a bit darker than Russian Tea Cake but in the same family of color. I like darker so it will be a good pick for me doing a sampler. I had used the Russian Tea Cake for A Saviour’s Praise by Shakespeare Peddler and I think the contrast with the multitude of off white threads in that piece would have stood out better on the Corn Tassel. I’m thankful 123 Stitch still has some linen available and I’m not at all unhappy with this linen. Thank you.

Legacy is a great linen. It has a little bit more stiff body than Lakeside or new Weeks but as you work with it it relaxes. I'm stitching Ann and Isabella Uffindell on it. Color is pretty accurate.
