Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to call us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

from United States on 03/05/2021 - Nice linen Corn Tassel is a bit darker than Russian Tea Cake but in the same family of color. I like darker so it will be a good pick for me doing a sampler. I had used the Russian Tea Cake for A Saviour’s Praise by Shakespeare Peddler and I think the contrast with the multitude of off white threads in that piece would have stood out better on the Corn Tassel. I’m thankful 123 Stitch still has some linen available and I’m not at all unhappy with this linen. Thank you.

from Canada on 02/28/2020 Legacy is a great linen. It has a little bit more stiff body than Lakeside or new Weeks but as you work with it it relaxes. I'm stitching Ann and Isabella Uffindell on it. Color is pretty accurate.
